Services Offered

How we work for the artist

The lives of performing artists depend on booking, representation, and concert and tour management.  These services are not always easy to come by, particularly for new and emerging artists.  We at IinM endeavor to help young artists, as well as more established groups, find an effective way of marketing themselves.

Additionally, all of the services that IinM offers support the needs of booking and touring, from assembling press kits, organizing press representation, and assisting with production.  Seeking tour engagements is a long-term proposition and needs a considerable investment of time, energy, and money.  We caution all artists to undertake this endeavor with these considerations in mind.  While we believe that every artist has the right to explore the marketplace, there is no guarantee that the process will be quick easy, or easily affordable.

We will work with you to create a reasonable, comprehensive presentation that can effectively market your Act or Acts.  We can plan a tour, set up schedules, etc.  We will negotiate contracts and make special arrangements as needed.  We can put together a full touring package.

How can i promote my band online

Being successful in the music industry takes more the just talent; it takes a solid understanding of marketing. After all, your band will never be discovered if people don’t know who you are! Guerrilla marketing is perfect for new band promotion as guerrilla marketers use their creativity instead of cash.

Below are 5 “Guerilla” ways to promote your band online:

1.  Sell your Cd on CD Baby
CD Baby is a little on line record store that sells albums by independent musicians.  They only sell music that comes directly from the musicians.  No distributors. Musicians send them their music.  They digitize and warehouse, sell them and pay you directly.

2. Set-up a MySpace Music Page
MySpace isn’t just for kids, in fact most MySpace users are in their late teens to early 40’s – likely the demographic your band is looking to market to. MySpace music pages allow musicians the ability to post information about upcoming events and even upload their songs.  Miki Free, Stevie Salas and UPGROUND are just some of the Indigenous Musicians who have leveraged MySpace for promoting their band.

3. Start a Blog
Blogger.com - Blogs are simple and free to start. They allow you to connect with your audience on a more personal level. Blogging is a great way to build word of mouth advertising and support for upcoming shows.

4. Create a Profile on Last.fm
Last.fm is a website perfect for band promotion, it logs every song you play and like MySpace, you can upload songs to your band profile for people to listen to and comment on. Last.fm allows you to build communities and connect with fans from all over the world.

5. Flickr
Band promotion is made easy with
Flickr. A one step upload process allows you to share photos of your band with friends, family and fans.

6. Post on YouTube
Do you have any video of your band playing live? Throw them up on
YouTube, it’s free and people are bound to watch it.

The internet offers countless ways to assist you with your band promotion efforts.  Unleash your creativity today and explore the guerrilla in you!

fees and options

Currently the only money we require from our Artists is our percentage of contracted bookings.

Please realize that if you don't supply your own press kits, etc. (for us to distribute) we can help you assemble them but you're going to have to pay a reasonable rate for time & materials.  We vigorously encourage new artists and bands to actively take control of as much of your own management and promotion as you can.  The internet has created an infinite number of opportunities for you...use them to get your music heard and learn how to protect yourself.

We're currently taking exclusive booking contracts only.  (Sorry, no management contracts)  If you don't want to enter into an exclusive contract agreement, or are already signed to an exclusive agreement, we can still help you generate bookings.
